"ILCA recommended policy is that Women´s championships should be held in the Laser Radial.ILCA runs"open" Women´s World and European Championships in conjunction with the LaserRadial Championships.
For identification purposes, when sailing in mixed fleets, ILCA recommends that Womencompetitors shall place on their sails a red diamond. The use of red diamonds may be requiredby the Sailing Instructions of an event.
