This 4.0 mm Selma® splicing fid is ideal for splicing Dyneema®, Vectran®, and other braided ropes. With an inside diameter of 4.0 mm, it is perfectly suited for 3 to 4 mm lines. For thicker lines (5 to 6 mm), we recommend the 5.5 mm Selma splicing needle (SL913662).
